My team

To fall short is not a crime. To fail is human. Failure is inextricably linked to future success. With grand impossible expectations follows the melacholy of disappointment. The ultimate game cannot be won without adversity, without the prior scars of defeat. Victory is not benign. Defeat is not absolute and it does not linger for time immemorial. Redemption responds to defeat, with rigor and determination - retaining lessons of the past and unchained from the burden of failure. Here we stand, we can do no other.

Fortuna plays her role. She displaces even the most determined man from his throne. For man cannot sit on any throne without challenges, without adversity, without the imminent possibility of becoming the pauper or fodder for the guillotine. If failure is the end and this is accepted to be true, we would all be nihilists since tomorrow exacerbates suffering without redemption. What type of world would that be?

So from the ashes the phoenix will rise again. And then...then...rebirth and redemption comes. Tomorrow shall not be pain forevermore. Tomorrow is another day, a new beginning, another journey into the unknown in search of triumph, no matter how fleeting it may be.

Love is...knowing pain in equal parts with joy. Night may descend on the warrior, but soon daylight will illuminate the path he must traverse in pursuit of becoming a champion.
